Travel Eatinerary’s Story
Travel Eatinerary was created to serve as a personal archive of places visited, a library of research conducted, and series of cost-saving tips for other foodies and travellers on a budget.
I decided to start a personal blog while researching ethical wildlife tours in the Florida Everglades for an upcoming trip in 2020. Cut to six hours later – my eyes were dry, laptop battery almost dead, and I had a million different tabs opened to tour company websites, travel review sites, prices, maps, blogs, and articles.
I was exhausted and overwhelmed, thinking: why did I have to open all these pages just to find the bits and pieces of information I’m looking for?
And then I thought: I do this for every trip. I invest months compiling research on every little aspect of the vacation to make the most out of it while staying within budget. What could I be doing with all this information instead of just letting it sit in my Google Drive when I’m done?
So that led to this. Documented and archived itineraries, experiences, and travel hacks that I can reflect back on in the future. Hopefully my stories can help others who suffer from FOBO (fear of better options) with their travel plans and decisions.
Welcome to my travel eatinerary!
